My name's Tim Edens, welcome to my web page.  I've been a programmer officially for about 7 years but I've been messing with it on and off for the past 12 years.  I'm the lead programmer for StreamLine at Jack Henry & Associates.  We provide banking software solutions for banks and credit unions around the country.

My interests include ... Computers (big surprise there), some sports but I don't play as much as I used to.  I like volleyball, basketball, softball, and ping pong the most but about the only regular activity I get into is weight lifting.  I like to readk, mainly science fiction or fantasy role playing books.  My favorite tv shows and movies are also sci-fi and fantasy.  Some of the shows/movies I like are Star Trek (any), Star Wars, Farscape, Babylon 5, Stargate, Andromeda.  Those are just some of the main ones I can think of at the moment.

I'm originally from Picher Oklahoma ... I lived my entire life up until I was 20 years old.  When I graduated from high school I went to NEO college in Miami, OK majoring in Aerospace Engineering.  After two years I was faced with the option of having to transfer to a 4 year college to finish my bachelors but the price proved to be too much so I joined the Air Force.  It's still a toss up on whether that was a good decision or not, I definitely got some good life experience from it and made some great friends but running around in a chemical weapons suit & gas mask setting up satellite dishes  in mid summer sucked to say the least.  After my 4 years in the Air Force was up I moved to Stillwater, OK and started going to school at OSU majoring in Aerospace again.  I soon changed my major to computer science and finished my school back at NEO before getting a job at Jack Henry.
